Vacation Rates

Recently we decided to take a trip to Costa Rica. Though we are seasoned travelers, we were a bit nervous about getting around on public transport. We had researched departure times and realized that was going to require a lot of travel time, so we rented a car.

Along the way we met a couple that had just rented a car and said that it had changed the pace of their vacation for the better. The process was simple and it had saved them a lot of time. They shared some recommendations with us and off we went.

We always try and make sure that we are conscious of our impact on the environment even when we travel. Renting a car from a company that was providing us with an emissions free car was great. We learned that there were a few to choose from in Costa Rica so that’s the way we went.

Only being in Costa Rica for a few days can give you an idea of the trying road conditions. At best, they are moderately drivable and in some of the more remote locations they can be down right terrible. That was a concern we had from the beginning about renting a car.  Read more...
