Polaris Ohio Lifestyle Center – A great weekend family road trip

The much anticipated outdoor life style center is headed to Polaris Fashion Place. The Polaris Ohio Area Fashion Place Mall has six well known mall anchor stores and a highly successful variety of specialty retailers. The outdoor flavor brings a fresh perspective to Polaris Mall and is a nice use of open space that all new visitors will enjoy. The newly developed outdoor life style area has a sophisticated appearance, with tree lined walkways and lots of green space. A dramatic European flavor architecture reflects the upscale amenities and offerings that are often associated with The Polaris Ohio Mall. Polaris Mall “lifestyle center” joins the ranks of the recent open air trend in shopping centers.

Several new tenants, including the wildly successful Cheesecake Factory have now been included in the choices of local restaurants. The mall resides at a location that used to belog to Kaufmann’s which closed recently. The capital of Germany is one of the most interesting cities in Europe. In Berlin you find exciting sights, superb gourmet food, a great nightlife and the newest in modern art. Under the World War II, many of the buildings where heavily damaged, but after the reunification they were all rebuild.

When the World War II ended, Berlin where divided into four sectors. In West Berlin there were the American, the British and the French sector, while the Eastern part of Berlin belonged to USSR. The city was merged together after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Today the united Berlin is again the capital of Germany.

The landmark of Berlin, Brandenburger Tor was originally a 26 meter (85 feet) high main gate to Berlin. Under the Cold War is stood in a waste part of East Berlin, but in 1990 reopened as a symbol of the German reunification.  Read more...

It can be hard choosing a back pack for kids. What your child would like is important, but it is also important that you have something which is suitable. Be warned that their preferences can change with the wind, and what they want one day they won’t want the next.

Below are the three ways I have chosen my kids back packs – and so far it has produced perfect results – a backpack which they are happy to carry and I am happy for them to use.

1. Always Buy Plain Colors – Whatever the color of a backpack you can always put stickers on it, add badges and dangle key rings. This is a great way for them to personalize their bag, it also makes it easy to find when thrown in with other kids. Also it is a great way put all the keyrings and badges to use.

2. Get The Size Right – Buying a child’s back pack too big can be disastrous, they put too much in them and then complain that the bag is too heavy so you end up carrying it. Equally torturous is getting one which is too small. There is little worse to see than the tears when a master piece has been destroyed on the way to or from home.  Read more...
